Enduro Racing with the Lucky Dog Racing League
This program operates under the leadership of Deaf person owner Brian Stromberg of the Kachow Racing organization, in partnership with Step Hanna, owner and leader of Semper Fabrication. Kachow #959 and Mia #960 race with the Lucky Dog League on tracks in the PNW. Kachow is racing to raise awareness about language deprivation in deaf children. Research has found that visual learning in both sign and spoken languages for deaf children shows exceptional results in education and socialization.
Each race event team-up of four racers drives an average of two hours in a stint for two days. For more details and racing fees, please refer to the "More Info" tab. Donations are accepted. Click on "Donation" in the upper right corner of this page. Fifty percent of the donation goes to a deaf organization that supports a deaf school in Vancouver, WA. The remaining donation is spent on car maintenance, upgrades, and the replacement of broken parts to keep the vehicle running for our Kachow Racing Team, which entertains while attending the Lucky Dog League in the Pacific Northwest Region.
